The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (the Institute) is hosting a series of consultation events as part of the Engineering and Manufacturing Route Review.
To ensure stakeholders at all levels across industry and education are equally represented, we are inviting employers, training providers and End-point assessment organisations interested in Engineering and Manufacturing (and across all sectors) to register to attend.
Simply register for one of the five events taking place at easily accessible locations up and down the country on the following dates:
Please note tickets for each event are strictly limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis. Book your ticket now to avoid disappointment.
These five, free-to-register events offer all attendees a unique opportunity to shape the outcome of the Route Review and apprenticeship standards of the future. The fundamental aim is to ensure employers have a safe, competent and productive workforce and individuals enjoy purposeful, satisfying careers that begin with a high-quality apprenticeship.
Each event will follow a half-day format designed to maximise attendee participation and minimise any disruption to the day-to-day operation of your business by ensuring that we are finished by 1300hrs.
At each event, the Institute will provide an update to participants of work in progress, but will also be there in a listening capacity, allowing you the opportunity to share your thoughts and reflections on a sector which is evolving rapidly to meet the pace of change and industrial digitalisation.
The nearest train station is Bristol Temple Meads Train Station, which is a short bus or taxi journey away from Engineers’ House. There is a taxi rank outside the station. Alternatively, if you are travelling by bus, the number 8 runs every 10 minutes from the station and travels through via the Centre, Park Street and Clifton Triangle and stops directly outside of Engineers’ House.
For detailed instructions, please click here to view Engineer’s House Travel Guide. Free parking is available on site.
Whilst attendance in person is encouraged because it also provides an excellent networking opportunity, those who are unable to be there can still have their say via an online survey. To participate in the online survey please register for a ticket and a link will be sent for you via email.
You can find out more about the Engineering and Manufacturing Route Review on the IfATE website. Questions about the events can be sent using the contact form at the foot of this page.
The Institute is responsible for ensuring that high-quality apprenticeships and technical education are available to learners. Route Reviews help us to do this by taking an overview of the Route and specific standards that are in scope. This ensures that apprenticeship standards continue to meet our occupational requirements, are relevant and up to date, and deliver for employers and apprentices.
Enginuity is administering the events on behalf of the Institute. If there are any queries prior to registering (or indeed after) contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please share your thoughts about the #EMRouteReview on social media before, during and after the events.
